Community Conversations!

Along with photography exhibitions throughout Washington State, we hosted community conversations to accompany the exhibit. The intent behind these conversations is to educate and break down the walls between people with criminal histories and those without, and thereby recognize each other’s humanity. Below you can watch a few!

Our very first photo exhibit and community conversation at the Impact Hub in Pioneer Square, Seattle, featuring Living with Conviction storytellers Rickey Roberson, Michael Shoemaker, Sabrina Helton, Maureen Moriarty, and Carmen Pacheco-Jones.

A Living with Conviction exhibit at the Spokane Public Library.

In partnership with Stand Up for Racial Justice, Backbone Campaign, and Vashon Island businesses, we hung portraits and profiles in businesses throughout the downtown area, all of which culminated in a community conversation at a local organization.
